Senior Citizens of Patagonia (SCP) was organized twenty-five years ago and is incorporated as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization to serve and support seniors of the Patagonia, Sonoita and Elgin areas through assistance with nutrition, health, transportation, education and social services.
We have shifted activities and programs as needs have changed. We have two large senior programs, one for transportation and one for weekday lunches, and several smaller activities such as maintaining the Senior/Community Center for community activities.
SCP pays for these activities by grant writing, through contracting to provide services, by fundraising events like the St. Patrick’s Day Party and by individual donations. None of it happens without the volunteers who give thousands of hours each year.
SCP is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and an Arizona Qualified Charitable Organization and donations to the Senior Citizens of Patagonia, Inc. may provide you some tax benefits. Your tax preparer can tell you how donations to SCP might benefit you.
Our regular operating hours are 10 am to 2 pm, Monday through Friday. We are closed most federal or state holidays. You can reach us by:
